I got a new stamp and die bundle this week, the 'Lift me Up' set from the Spring/Summer catalogue so I've been having a play with it. I thought the balloon colours would go well with this weeks colour challenge from Paper Craft Crew. There was 4 colours but we only needed to use 3 so I chose the red, pink and grey. The other choice was plum, which I surprised myself that I didn't use as I love every shade of purple.
I felt in a flowery mood this week so for this weeks birthday challenge I decided to use one of my favourite stamp sets - Falling Flowers - to create these birthday cards,
Well now that Christmas is over I have a few January birthdays to make cards for so I used the sketch challenge from Paper Craft Crew to make this birthday card for my sister.
The stamp sets I used for this card are Special Reason from the new Spring/Summer catalogue and the Delicate Details from the Sale-a-Bration leaflet.
When I driving to work last week it was very cold and frosty and I thought how pretty the trees looked covered in the white frost. I thought I would try to re-create it on a card and think its perfect for this challenge.
This is the sketch that I followed. Why don't you pop over to the Paper Craft Crew website and see what the design team have made.
This weeks colour challenge fits in well with Christmas and as I have lots of Christmas cards to make the hardest part was choosing which one to use. I decided to share with you a 'never ending card' I have made a few of these and they are quite fun to do, bit tricky at first but well worth the effort. You can't see from the picture as I have only photographed the front but you keep folding the layers back on themselves and you then get back to the beginning and start again.
The colours set to use were Red, Green and Crumb Cake, whcih compliment each other well at this time of year.
I have been playing with my new stamp sets again and when I saw this weeks sketch challenge I thought this set would be perfect. I have rotated the sketch so that instead of putting the 3 elements down the side mine as balloons go up I put them at the top.
For challenge 218 my card was picked in the top 3, It was a really good feeling and made my day, so play along, you never know you might get picked as a winner too.
Here is this weeks sketch....
I am not feeling well today as I have a horrible tummy bug, so the best way to cheer myself up was to do some crafting. Here is my card for this weeks challenge, I used one of my new sets that I was lucky to be able to order early as I attended the Stampin' Up! Onstage event. You will have to wait for this set until the launch of the new catalogue, let me know if your interested. My favourite part is the little envelope, I have a feeling I will be making quite a few of these.
Here is the sketch I used.
This week is a Tic Tac Toe challenge, I like these ones as they are slightly different to the normal and make me think a bit more. I have stuck with a Christmas theme seen as I am making lots of Christmas cards at the moment ready to send to all my family and friends.
For this challenge we have to choose one row either down, across or diagonally. I have made my card from the bottom row across - Christmas Theme and Watercolour and Animal.
Products used are all from Stampin' Up!
